Rose of Sharon 2022 is an original mixed media card collage. During my first year as an Artist in Residence at Arlene’s Artist Materials in Albany, I worked to create a body of work exploring collage, color and personal history. The paintings in this series are original mixed media acrylic paintings built on playing cards and hand sewn together. Framed in black at 4X12”, this work is ready to hang.
